Roger Barnes received his Gemology Diploma from the Gemological Institute of America in 1981, and his Diamond Consultant Diploma from the Northwest Gemological Institute in 1980. As a member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers ( NAJA ) since 1985, he has over 41 years of jewelry retail management and wholesale jewelry buying experience. He has directed several high profile jewelry stores and spent nineteen years with Kay Jewelers and Black Starr & Frost Ltd. after which he established Dynasty Trading Inc. of Boca Raton. Twice a month we host an appraisal clinic by GIA Certified Jewelry Appraiser Roger Barnes.The appraisals are done while you wait, and include a full color print out of each appraised item.
